Meet Denise Chambliss, Owner of Sweetneecy’s

Welcome to Sweetneecy's Online. My name is Denise. I love all things cake! Bringing smiles to the faces of my clients, family and friends through cake decorating and creating has been my passion for over 20 years.

My interest in cake decorating started as a small child. I used to spend hours outside making “cakes” out of dirt and water, then decorating them with wild flowers. It was not until 22 years ago that my childhood dream became a reality when I was offered a position as cake decorator at a Baskin Robbins in Hanau, Germany. I soon realized my love of baking and most of all, decorating cakes.

Since then I have taken sugar art classes under the instruction of Chef Nicholas Lodge, as well as completed several Wilton courses and other trainings. I am always looking for ways to build my skills, and I love being presented with new and challenging projects.

I love the creative process, the challenge of trying to make an idea come to life, and the look of joy on the face of the recipient when I hand them that special cake.

In addition to serving clients, I have been honored to work closely with well respected cake brands in the industry and serve as a demonstrator at Cake Expos and a brand ambassador.
